I have no idea how to put into words what I'm feeling as I close this book right now. I am dumbounded, emotionally spent, totally in love with the characters-while at the same time, happy, uplifted and ecstatic. I have yet to find a story from Ms. Rainey that hasn't set my heat a soaring and TURBULENT PASSIONS definitely did so. I was hooked from the very first sentence and bawled like a baby when it ended. Ms. Rainey definitely knows how to hook her readers and keep them enthralled throughout. Sapphire and her brother Aries broke my heart. Their secret has never been shared with anyone and they've only had each other to depend on for too long. When Adam comes crashing into Sapphire's life it's almost like I was seeing her come out of her coccoon and develops into a beautiful butterfly with his touch. Adam is suffering from amnesia when we first meet him. I was so angry with him when he chose not to tell Sapphire the truth about his job and his life. However, I did understand his fear of losing her over it and I knew he'd do the right thing in the end. Turbulent isn't a strong enough word to describe the passion that explodes between Adam and Sapphire. To me it was absolutely jaw droping in its intensity. Woven with heat, romance and suspense and wrapped around light paranormal aspects, TURBULENT PASSIONS is my favorite book of the year!

If he could just get his hands on her…Unfortunately, the pictures tell a very dark story of the things Ryan did to the woman while on his "business trip." Are the pictures telling the truth or is someone out to teach Ryan about the sin of gluttony?

This was the most incredible story I have ever read from Skyler Grey. She really took a wild turn in this one, and I love her for doing it. This story was wickedly evil and full of eerie goodness. I wasn't sure where the twists and turns were going to leave me or who was actually after Ryan. It might be evil of me, but I was hoping Ryan would get his just due for treating the women he had been with so poorly. He just thinks he can do nothing wrong and women should just fall at his feet and be honored he's giving them the time of day. If you're looking for a superb mystery with some thrills and chills, check out TOO MUCH IS NEVER ENOUGH by Skyler Grey. Just a note to readers: this story is in the anthology DEADLY SINS with other author contributions. I strongly suggest reading the entire anthology for the most appeal.

She even goes so far as to open a shelter for abuse victims and teaches them self defense. Unfortunately, when Abby realizes she is being stalked by someone, or something, oozing evilness, she realizes she needs help. Turning to the two men she trusts above all others, Abby soon understands that there is way more between them than just a mutual need to stop the stalker. In fact, there is a burning passion begging to be explored.

This second installment to the SERENITY SERIES, SHELTERING ABBY, definitely comes out with a bang! I really admire Abby's strength and determination to keep abused victims safe in Serenity. She's is a very engaging character who I instantly felt a connection with. I really enjoyed the fact that both Ben and Trevor were in love with Abby. Instead of it causing a battle between them, their bond is so strong that both are able to accept her as their mate. Ben and Trevor are mouthwateringly delicious. I really got into the psychic abilities of all three characters and there are a lot of funny moments between Trevor and Ben while they speak telepathically. When Trevor, Ben and Abby get together, the pages seem to explode in passion. I couldn't wait to find out who or what the source of the evil was that was stalking Abby. If you're looking for a story with very enticing characters and passionate scenes with an air of mystery thrown in, SHELTERING ABBY is definitely the story for you!

WAR GOD by Alexa Aames

Estella is in a bookstore when she discovers a very old book on mythology. When she recites the spell written in it, she becomes a completely different woman. She starts having very erotic dreams about Ares, the god of war. When she discovers that she is in fact carrying the essence of Aphrodite inside her, she finds herself at Ares' mercy. Ares soon becomes obsessed with Estella and determined to possess her. He won't allow anyone or anything to get in his way of making Estella his, including Estella herself.

SECRETS VOLUME 24: SURRENDER TO SEDUCTION is a whirlwind adventure from one story to the next. As the title says, each story deals with submission of some sort. I can't pick my favorite story out of this one. I fell in love with the characters in each. HOT ON HER HEELS was a ton of fun. I really enjoyed Jack in his leopard print g-string at Vivica's mercy. They're relationship was filled with passion and provocative moments. SHADOW WOLF kind of threw me for a loop. Not usually my type of story, I still found myself amazed by Rae Monet's ability to draw me into this story. I really enjoyed the paranormal elements in this story and of course, the sensual seduction. BAD TO THE BONE really stood out for me. I could relate to Annie completely. She was the nerd in high school and suddenly she re-appears smoking hot. Luke was downright yummy and I agreed whole heartedly with her wanting to seduce him. WAR GOD gave me mixed emotions. It took me a while to decide whether Ares was actually evil or just a man in love. I love stories based on Greek gods, so I really got into this one quickly. Estella and Ares really get their groove on and Estella discovers a new side to herself she never realized existed. Once again, the authors and Red Sage Publishing really did an amazing job of combining these stories to appeal to any reader out there. These are my favorite anthologies because I always know I will never be disappointed with any story that I read from them.

He's not ready to face the world. He's happy being hidden from all the cruelty the world has to offer. When Christine arrives to rescue him, he thinks they're both out of their minds. There's something about this empowered woman that just melts his heart though. Will he be able to believe in her and trust that what she feels for him is real?

EDUCATING EVA by Bethany Michaels
Eva is researching mating habits in the human male to write a book. Spying on her neighbors seems to provide her with quite a lot of helpful information. When she's invited to a house party to continue her research, Ava soon discovers a very intoxicating world involving pleasures of the flesh. When she is caught by Aidan Worthington, she can't help but be humiliated. After all, it was he she was eavesdropping on while he was in coital bliss with another woman. When Eva drags Aidan into her research, he finds himself hard pressed to resist her. Soon enough, he finds himself completely breathless with passion for her. Before her "research" is through, Aidan is definitely going to make Eva his—forever.

Overall, I think SECRETS VOLUME 23: SECRET DESIRES is one of the best collections I have read from Red Sage yet. From historical to the fantastical, I was swept away to different lands and times. This is truly a collection that sends your senses into overdrive. Visually stimulating, as well as physically and mentally stimulating, I found myself on the edge of my seat in anticipation of what would happen next. My two favorite stories in this anthology were FOREVER MY LOVE and EDUCATING EVA. I really enjoyed the female heroines innocence in each story. I'm usually not a fan of sci-fi or fantasy stories, however, THE SEX SLAVE definitely kicked my libido into high gear. Lazarus and Jaci were a knock out couple. I loved their witty banter and the passion that overtook them. REFLECTIONS OF BEAUTY stole my breath away. My heart broke for Eric and his concerns about how the world would treat him due to his disfigurement. Christine and Eric are truly a Phantom of the Opera or Beauty and the Beast couple that melted my heart. I really enjoy the fact that each story in these anthologies is different. I get to enjoy all different types of genres from these amazing authors and I get to move with the characters from one world to another. The SECRETS books are some of my favorite collections and these authors and stories are the reason why.

What a fantastic adventure this was! I love everything about this story from the characters to the hot sexual interactions. Jamie Hill definitely knows how to pen a smoking hot male/male romance for her readers. The storyline was absolutely divine in its uniqueness. Mike is a married man discovering his wife with another woman. He later discovers that he is also in love with a man. Niko and Mike are mouthwateringly delightful together. They will definitely get readers engines revving in no time. There are some very funny moments in this story that will leave readers shaking their heads in pity for Mike. This was such a neat concept to weave this story around. If you're looking for a smokin' hot male/male romance with some enchanting humor thrown in for good measure, SECOND TIME AROUND is the story for you! The character interactions really left my mouth watering and craving more of these types of stories from Ms. Hill.

THE PERFECT COVER is a wonderfully accurate title for this story. Ryan is pretending to be something he's not, only to discover his true destiny. This was such a complex story of self-discovery, not only for Ryan, but Sean also. Although both try to fight their attraction to the other, this reader felt the passion between them. I couldn't wait for their determination to falter and for them to be together. The drifting of these two characters on a wave of passion is almost bittersweet at time, leaving me breathless in their wake. Anyone looking for a powerfully erotic m/m romance should definitely give this one a whirl. It left me hot and bothered, that's for sure!

Talia and Calion will leave you breathless. To be honest, I'm not a "fantasy" reader, but this story just rocked my world! I love the magickal realm Talia ends up in. CJ England made it so vivid, I really feel as if I was there, right alongside the characters. The passion that bursts to life between Calion and Talia left me shaky and astonished. I can honestly say I have never read such an amazing erotic fantasy story in my entire life. If you're looking for an action packed adventure with terrific romance and sensual scenes, EYES OF FIRE is the story for you. I will be recommending this story to everyone I know. I can't wait for the next in this series!

MerLion's Pleasure by Diane Taylor

Teresa receives a very old and beautiful necklace with a skeleton key as the pendant. Things are getting weirder and weirder for Teresa though. She discovers that she's got a first class ticket and a mysterious letter with a map inside waiting for her onboard the plane from a mysterious man calling himself MM. When she realizes that MM is actually a ghost, Teresa finds herself embroiled in one heck of a mystery aboard the ship she is sailing upon. Soon, Teresa finds herself falling for the ghost who calls himself MerLion. How will these two ever be able to be together, seeing as how MerLion is dead?

MERLION'S PLEASURE is a superb mystery on the high seas. Full of pirates, mischief and a killer storyline, this is definitely a story I'll be raving about for a long time to come. I truly enjoyed Teresa's wonderment at all that was happening to her on her journey. The intrigue of who MM is really captivated my imagination and had it spinning circles, wondering what was going on. Diane Taylor really wove an incredible pirate tale of romance, passion and mystery that kept me hooked from beginning to end. I couldn't wait to see how Teresa's mom's necklace was going to tie into the storyline. MerLion is delicious, especially for a ghost. The romance that unfolds between Teresa and MerLion is exquisite. I loved the passion between them. If you are looking for a kick butt storyline, with a great romance and mystery thrown in, check out Diane Taylor's MERLION'S PLEASURE.

This is my first story by R.G. Alexander and I found myself totally blown away. Reminiscent of early Laurell K. Hamilton and the worlds of Kelley Armstrong and Kim Harrison, LIFTING THE VEIL brings the world of magic to the reader's senses. I loved everything about this story. I really enjoyed Meru's reaction to discovering all the hidden aspects to the world she lives in. From lizard men to shape shifters, she appeared way in over her head. Although she starts out with a very amusing reaction, she soon gets over her initial shock and really finds her place in the world. Damon is yummy with a capital Y. He made my insides tingle and my heart pound. The sensual scenes between Meru and Damon are going to rock your world. They are just outstanding! I kind of felt like a voyeur sometimes. Above all of this, the urban fantasy feel really made this story believable for me. If you're looking for a kick butt urban fantasy with strong paranormal and erotic elements, read this book. I promise you're going to love it. I'll be looking for all of R.G. Alexander's books now!

I really enjoyed the tug of war between Jason and Kandace. She's not ready or completely willing to forgive him, but she's so attracted to him, it's hard not to just give in to their passion. Jason is totally in love with Kandace, but it's going to take a lot to prove that to her. She thinks he's a total playboy and just looking to add another notch to his belt. A strong romance, engaging characters and a lot of humor, THE KANDY SHOPPE is really a wonderful read that I will be recommending to everyone. Deborah Dennis is definitely someone I'll be keeping my eye on for new releases.

Kara's brother embezzled thirty thousand dollars from Slade Westin. Only able to come up with half, Kara hopes that if she gives Slade 15 K, he won't press charges against her brother. Her very ill mother wouldn't live through her brother going to prison. Instead, Slade approaches Kara with a much more intriguing offer—marriage.

Slade finds himself immediately attracted to the beautiful and submissive Kara. More than that, he feels very protective of her. He hates the fact that her own brother has made her feel responsible for cleaning up his mess. For the first time in three years, Slade's dominant nature has arisen, both in his heart and in his soul. Slade devises a plan to seduce Kara while at the same time helping her brother out of this mess.

Although I love a great many things about HIS PERFECT SUBMISSIVE, I found myself not able to connect to Kara. I sympathized with her plight and I know she had actual feelings for Slade throughout the story, but she just didn't wow me like most female characters do. She's beautiful, sensual and just a sweet, down home kind of girl. To me, Slade seemed like too alpha of a character for her. He was dominating as hell and she was just too meek for my taste. The romance that blooms between them did make my heart melt, however. Slade is gorgeous and definitely a man most women would love to have seducing them into submissiveness. I did enjoy how Kara and Slade came together. Saving her brother by marrying Slade was an intriguing storyline and it really kept this story going. The sensual scenes between Slade and Kara were hot and sometimes poignant. I am very interested in checking out more of Alyssa Aarons work in the future.

GETTING LUCKY WITH LUCIANO is hot, hot, hot! This is my favorite Kelley Nyrae book so far. I love the connection I have as a reader with Luciano and Kaylee. They are so real for me. I can totally relate to Kaylee's clumsiness and shyness around the man she likes. Luciano is a very yummy character. He definitely had my insides turning to mush in no time. The supporting characters in this story are hilarious at times, really drawing the reader into their lives. My heart melted when Luciano and Kaylee gave into their passion. This is truly a couple that belongs together. The drama, or tug of war if you will, between Kaylee's mind and heart will definitely draw everyone into this story. She starts out determined for her "relationship" with Luciano to just be sexual, but soon finds herself wanting more with him. Luciano is in the same boat. He never plans to fall in love with her. If you're looking for a knock-out, heart-tugging, powerful romance with all the wonderful attributes Kelley Nyrae is known for in her stories, buy GETTING LUCKY WITH LUCIANO. DARK MASTER is Tawny Taylor at her best. This is the best book I have ever read from her and there isn't a thing wrong I could find. Well, I wish it had never ended, but I don’t think that counts. The sexual interactions between Regan and Shadow are wickedly delicious and left me dancing in delight. I was begging for Tawny to write them a happily ever after! I really enjoyed the fact that Regan was so out of her element in Shadow's world. It created a lot of drama and some moments of intrigue that really made the storyline dynamite. I felt so bad for Regan when DARK MASTER first started. She's been left destitute with no way to take care of herself. Shadow becomes her night in shining armor. He is so darn yummy, he takes my breath away. The supporting characters in this story also helped draw me in and gave me goose bumps. I'm hoping that Ms. Taylor will continue these adventures with Shadow's brothers! I definitely can't wait to find out what's in store next from this sensually talented author.

KyAnn Waters has done an amazing job of bringing THE COUGAR MEETS HER MASTER to life for this reader. I love the witty dialogue between Taylor and Colt. They are such an amazingly addictive couple that I found I couldn’t get enough of them. I really enjoyed the fact that Colt was determined to show Taylor that age doesn't matter. He is just as capable of brining her steamy passion as a man older than her. The mix of emotions between the two characters really drew me into the storyline deeper and deeper as it went on. The passion that explodes between these two left me on the edge of my seat in ecstasy. I couldn't get enough of the sensual scenes between them. I really, really wanted these two to have a happily ever after. Of course, I'm not going to tell you if they did or not, but the read is well worth finding out. If you haven't read a KyAnn Waters story yet, definitely check them out. She is truly an author I'm finding myself addicted to!

She's gun shy about starting a relationship but at the same time, not ready to back down from what she's feeling. She wants to go after what she wants. Wendy is the more dominant of the two. She sees what she wants and she's going to have it. The relationship that builds between these two women took my breath away. If you're looking for a heartfelt erotic romance, CARNAL COLLISION is the story for you!

BLUSH by Opal Carew is the best story I have read from her yet. Full of mind blowing emotions sure to take your breath away, I was on the edge of my seat in awe wondering how this story would end. I knew someone would end up hurt, I just wasn't sure who. I really loved Hanna and J.M. together and I kept praying that her ex would remain out of the picture. I love that Ms. Carew really spent time researching the arts of Kama Sutra and Tantric sex. I honestly couldn't find anything wrong with her descriptions of the positions or the methods. There are a lot of very sensual erotic scenes between J.M. and Hanna that made me totally hot and bothered. The teacher/student aspect really added an element of taboo to this story that kept me intrigued. The relationship between J.M. and Hanna isn't just about sex, it's about finding your other half. J.M. is exactly the type of man Hanna needs in her life to let her inhibitions about making love go and just be free. Things will not be easy for this couple with Grey, Hanna's ex, coming between them, however. If you are in the mood for a wonderfully descriptive romance with some very hot bedroom scenes and a unique take on both, give BLUSH by Opal Carew a chance. She truly is a goddess of sensuality in her writing.

I really found myself in awe at the power Hunter had over Kayden with his dominant tendencies. Kayden is a superb submissive. They clicked very well together in that aspect and are definitely a match made in Heaven. I really enjoyed the premise of this storyline. I am very much hoping that this is going to turn into an ongoing series so I can find out the other women's fantasies also. Full of smoking hot passion and an unbelievable romance, BEJEWELED AND BEDEVILED is a keeper to be read over and over again.

I honestly didn't get anything much from this story. I felt like I was being pulled in ten different directions at times. The dialogue, to me, left a lot to be desired. I'm not sure what effect Mima wanted to have with ALPHA WITHIN, but I was left empty. The characters seemed to all blend into one another and I really didn't find them to be memorable at all. The dialogue seemed to change non-stop. It was like a mish-mash of different dialects to me. Sometimes almost like a group of teenagers bashing the English language, and at other times, it seemed to just drift. There were quite a few characters in this story, and it very much detracted from the storyline. The woman I thought was playing the part of the heroine wasn't, which I discovered out much later. Dar and Luna couldn't capture and hold my interest for any length of time. I think the problem I really had with this story is that there was just so much going on. It made it really hard to concentrate on the main story. Too much thrown into the basket with not enough emphasis on the main storyline.

Wolf Tales VI by Kate Douglas

She's not quite sure if she really felt a need to return home, or if she felt a need to run from Adam Wolf and the Chanku legacy. Finding out she's able to turn into a wolf at will would definitely scare a girl. What are even worse are her feelings for Adam. She needs time away to figure out what to do. It's not just Adam that Eve is concerned about—their pack mate, and lover, Oliver, also has to be considered. Eve has also developed pretty strong feelings for him.

When Eve discovers a beaten down young woman stealing food at the local gas station, Eve finds herself incredibly drawn to the beautiful woman. When Eve realizes that she actually knew Mei when they were young children growing up in the seedier part of town, she realizes that maybe Mei is the reason she was drawn home. Mei definitely recognizes the beautiful Eve. When Eve and Mei give into their passion for each other, Eve realizes there is definitely something intriguing about Mei. It's something she can't quite put her finger on, however. She's not sure if she's Chanku or something more. Eve realizes she's never been attracted so strongly to a woman before, but is afraid of scaring the younger woman away before Adam and Oliver arrive. Maybe they'll know what to make of this irresistible woman. In the meantime, Eve and Mei are definitely going to have some fun together!

WOLF TALES VI is by far the most amazing story in this series. I am left completely in awe and dumbstruck by Kate Douglas' ability to draw me in time and time again with each installment. Eve, Adam, Oliver and Mei are some of the most breathtaking characters we have encountered yet as readers. Between mind-blowing sensual love scenes, a killer plot line and wonderful romances blooming between the characters, I feel like I've been carried away to a dream world. Kate's depictions of the scenes are so clear I feel like I'm right there with each of the characters. The sex scenes between the characters always make me feel like a voyeur, in a good way of course! There are some wickedly divine surprises in this book that are going to knock your socks off. I was blown away by the twist Kate added. If you're looking for a strong erotic romance with paranormal elements, great character interaction and a well woven web of intrigue, WOLF TALES VI is definitely the story for you. I do strongly suggest, however, that you read all these books in order at some point. You really get a feel for the Chanku world and all its characters this way. You can never go wrong with a Kate Douglas book and I will be telling everyone how wonderful this one was.

Filled with a wickedly dynamic storyline, very engaging characters and a romance that will blow your mind, WINNING VIRGIN BLOOD is at the top of my favorite paranormal list this year. I was totally swept away by this story and the complexity of this vampire family's lives. I genuinely feel like I've gotten to know everyone involved in this story and I wasn't left with any feelings of boredom or repetition anywhere in this story. If you're looking for a phenomenal paranormal romance, look no further. WINNING VIRGIN BLOOD is the book for you!

TWO MASTERS FOR ALEX is out of this world phenomenal. This is, by far, one of the best D/s stories I have ever had the pleasure to read. Claire Thompson incorporates every important aspect required for a romantic BDSM relationship and she does it with gusto! The one element about this story that really hooked me is the fact that these people aren't all strangers. Liam and Daniel have a developed relationship between themselves, but Liam is willing to let Daniel explore his feelings of dominance with a third party. Both of these men take all the precautions necessary to bringing a third into their fold. The romance that develops between the men and Alex really took my breath away. I always look forward to reading a story from Claire Thompson because she always puts her heart and soul into both her characters and the storyline, never leaving me wondering if there could be more.

Bane is a man every woman is going to want. He's sexy, arrogant and dominating as all get out. I would definitely let him use his whip on me! Roslyn is a wonderfully complex character. At times, she seems almost docile and then, suddenly, her razor sharp wit comes bursting to the surface. I really enjoyed the unknown factors about this story—Roslyn doesn't know who Bane is. She has a feeling of knowing him from some place, but she can't put her finger on it. This turned into a dynamite game of tug of war between the two for control. If you're in the mood for a kick butt erotic romance with some enticing romantic elements, SEXUAL PERSUASION is definitely the story for you!

When Angelica is robbed in the woman's bathroom on her way to catch a flight home, she never expects the crazy turns her life is about to take. I loved Daxon—sometimes witty, but always a knight in shining armor, he is definitely what being a hero is all about. Meredith is a wonderful character—funny, engaging and fed up with crap! She wants her life back the way it was, with Dax. It's going to take some work to get him to forgive her though. The romance between Dax and Meredith is just as mind-blowing as the fear running through their veins in regards to the serial killer. I will be recommending Jaycee Clark's books to friends for a very long time!

That's sure as heck not stopping her from following her heart, which totally melted mine. These two are a match made in Heaven. He's a very lovable character—always witty, laid back and will do anything to make Elizabeth happy. The passion that starts exploding between these two will take your breath away. It definitely left me feeling warm and tingly. There is an element of drama to EXECUTIVE DECISION that really held my interest. Elizabeth is semi-involved with her boss and has been hiding it from Dale. Lies, secrets and deceit are never good bedfellows. If you're looking for a story that you won't be able to put down, with great characters, wonderful romance and wicked passion, this is, without a doubt, the story for you!

The passion that explodes between them left me hot and bothered long after finishing. Stella and Audra are wickedly talented and I never find myself bored with them. No two stories are ever the same. If you're looking for an awesome paranormal romance that will knock your socks off, look no further than DEEP WATER!

I love the descriptions Cara North offers readers. It almost felt as though I was the naughty wench taken away by Johnny Depp to be his love slave. A girl can wish, right? The relationship between Delia and Augustus starts out tenuous—Delia is kind of afraid of him and his intentions. However, when these two do become amorous, I was waiting for the ship to explode and sink. Full of a wonderful mix of paranormal, romance, and some wonderfully passionate love scenes, CURSE OF THE BLUE STONE is a wonderful way to while away an hour!

HUNGERS OF THE HEART is exquisitely action packed and turbo charged. I guarantee this installment in the GUARDIANS OF THE NIGHT series will knock your socks off. If you're looking for a series that is more urban fantasy than paranormal, I strongly urge you to check out Jenna Black's books. She's a fantastic writer that really draws readers into her world. Drake is a kick butt hero-strong, loyal and willing to give his own life to protect those he's close to. When it's his life on the line though, he'll do anything to prove his innocence. The interaction between Drake and the European council never sat well with me. I had a strong feeling of evil coming from the Europeans and I hoped that Drake would see through them. The scenes between Drake and Faith are seductive and passionate, leaving this reader feeling warm and fuzzy. This was a romance that I could believe in! Ms. Black is a very talented author and I've become addicted to her books. I know if you read them you will too!

DREAMWALKER by Kathleen Dante is superb! Drama, passion and a killer storyline are only a few things that really made this such a fantastic read. I was completely immersed in the amazing storyline of DREAMWALKER. I've never read a story that left me tingling so much from beginning to end. The thought of a man entering my dreams to seduce me left me quivering. Aurora is such a lucky girl! Damon is such a compelling character. He knows he's supposed to bring Aurora down, but he can't seem to help himself from seducing her. He's completely drawn to her. Aurora just wants some satisfaction. She's sick and tired of the hot and heavy dreams she's having. When these two do finally meet face to face, I thought the pages were going to start on fire. The heat between them was absolutely mesmerizing. Now don't forget the threat of the bomb. This really kept me on the edge of my seat. Just when Damon really needs Aurora, she seems to disappear from his control. He can't seem to keep a hold on her. Kathleen Dante is a superb writer and DREAMWALKER just proves this point. She's always been able to keep me mesmerized and I cannot wait to read another story from her very soon!

I really enjoy the fact that she can never quite make up her mind when it comes to all her suitors. She also doesn’t make it a point to just sleep with all of them either. She's a good girl, with good morals, working in a hard job. Quinn is by far my most favorite of Riley's men. He's wickedly sexy, dominating and so hot your teeth will sweat. The passion that always ignites between these two will give you heart palpitations. The storyline in THE DARKEST KISS really made my blood run cold. Riley's job is never easy, but when she's fighting two serial killers, I was completely on edge. When the killer goes after someone close to Riley, I thought I was going to lose it for sure! I was so captivated by the danger, the romance wasn't as important to me. It is there in a very strong way though. I honestly feel that Riley and Quinn belong together and I hope eventually they'll get a happily ever after. If you're a reader looking for non-stop, heart-pounding action, a terrific romance with lots of passion and some thrills and chills, THE DARKEST KISS is definitely for you. As a note to readers: This series is not meant to be read as stand-alones. They should definitely be read in order, as each one is a continuation of the previous story.

The depths to her sexuality that she discovers will leave you trembling. Dieter is very enigmatic—while he can be cruel and unforgiving at times, he also has this part of him that cries out to be held and loved. I can wholly understand why CASSANDRA'S CONFLICT was reprinted five times the first year it was in print. The storyline is gripping, the characters are compelling and the sex scenes were mind-blowingly surreal earning CASSANDRA'S CONFLICT top marks from this reader!

Apparently, the captain that resides in this strange house has the answers. When Catherine discovers her nanny has bespelled the diary she gave her, Catherine soon realizes she's tied to 413 Remembrance Lane for better or worse. How in the world does Drew tie into this strange place and will she ever actually get the answers she seeks?

This was a very sensual and heart-breaking story. Drew basically fakes his own death to protect Catherine from ever finding out the truth about him. Catherine has waited for so long to be with the man she loves, she's not going to let anything stand in her way, especially him. The passion that finally erupts between them is spellbinding. MIDNIGHT CONFESSION is definitely the story to start this collection with. It's grabbed hold of me and I can't wait to see what the other authors have to bring to the table!

An Extraordinary Request by Emma Wildes

When Arthur arrives at 413 Remembrance Lane, he thinks it's just to spend a month with his closest friend and his new wife. However, when Henri and Serena beg him to help Serena father a child, Arthur is dumbstruck. Henri is impotent now due to a spider bite, but he and Serena always wanted children. How can Arthur possibly refuse this desperate couple? Serena and Arthur never expect to find themselves actually attracted to one another

Baby making isn't the only thing going on in Serena's life, however. She has discovered the diary left in the house. By writing in this diary, Serena will magically be able to receive her hearts desire. However, what is Serena's heart's desire…Henri, her husband, or Arthur, the man that brought passion back into her life?

AN EXTRAORDINARY REQUEST is quite addictive. I really love the tie-in of the diary through each of these stories so far. I felt so bad for Serena, all she wants is her husband but he doesn't think he's a man anymore. Henri is such a self-conscious fellow. If only he'd believe his wife's words instead of thinking since he can't offer her sex, she won't want him. Henri brings in his best friend, Arthur to have sex with his wife which was totally hot! I really enjoyed this story a lot and will be looking for more of Emma Wildes stories soon!

Of Death and Desire by Jude Mason

Jonathan and his lover, Philip, are descending to 413 Remembrance Lane on a vacation of sorts for Philip to try to rest. Philip has consumption and no treatments have been able to help him. When Philip dies, Jonathan is inconsolable. He's in a non-stop drunken rage, up to his neck in his own vomit and ready and willing to end his own life. Something strange is happening here at Jonathan's new home. He is actually feeling Philip touch him, caress him and is sure it's Philip bringing him to orgasmic delight. But how can that be? Philip died! Jonathan has cut back on drinking and is taking better care of himself so are these hallucinations or Philip's last wish in the diary finally taking hold?

OF DEATH AND DESIRE had me bawling my eyes out. It was such a heartbreaking story. These two men basically had to hide what they were from the world. During the time period, gay men didn't exist. With Philip's illness, my heart tore for Jonathan. I couldn't believe how much I fell for these characters. The romance between these two men is exquisite. It's very heart-felt and truly an inspiration. The diary is a huge event in this story and by the end, I was still crying, only this time in gratification. Philip and Jonathan definitely earned a place in my heart.

The War Within by D. Musgrave

William is just returning home from the war. He and his love, Sheila had bought 413 Remembrance Lane before he was whisked away, and now he's returned home to surprise her. He's always loved the old plantation house and he and Sheila hoped to have a happy life here. Unfortunately, William isn't as carefree about his time in the war as he lets on to Sheila. He is having flashbacks of his time fighting the guerillas and he's sure he's hearing them scream. Things are getting stranger and stranger however, when William's flashbacks get so extreme, it's like he's having out of body experiences. When he strikes his wife, he knows he's in serious trouble.

William decides it's time to talk to the voodoo witch. When he finds and talks to both her and the spirit of pirate Drew (MIDNIGHT CONFESSION), he is instructed to find the diary hidden in the house. Only with this diary can William and Sheila truly be set free from the spirits trying to claim their souls. Will William head their advice and locate the diary in time?

THE WAR WITHIN both spooked me and left me dying to know how it was going to end. I can't imagine coming home from the war and reliving all of my friend's deaths and being haunted by evil spirits. I sure as hell can't imagine being Sheila and having some strange spirit, who I thought was my husband, bringing me to orgasm. William is a hero to me and the lengths he goes to in order to protect his wife and his home will have you enthralled with this story in no time. D. Musgrave has become one of my favorite authors and THE WAR WITHIN definitely cements him there. This story will have your blood turning cold, your libido shooting up to the moon and leave you wondering just how much this diary in the house is capable of.

Let the Sunshine In by Jamie Hill

Scott and Terri left California to get away from the crime spree ripping through the area. Moving into 413 Remembrance Lane should be making both of them very happy. However, Terri hasn't been in the mood for making love as of late, which is really surprising to Scott. She's been feeling very jumpy lately and now Scott is having weird dreams. Ever since he and Terri met Rafe in the diner, Scott has found himself having very erotic dreams about the man. However, Scott soon discovers he's not the only one having sinfully delicious dreams of Rafe…so is Terri!

When Rafe comes to dinner with some wine, friendship suddenly turns to a whole lot more. Scott and Terri get an experience with Rafe they never could have imagined. When they discover that Rafe has a whole other side to him, they are unsure whether they should run screaming for the hills or just embrace his furry side. He really is the most amazing thing to happen to them, after all. When Terri remembers the diary she found in the house they realize that they may just be able to wish for Rafe to be all man. Wishing on the diary always comes with a price though. Is this threesome ready to pay it?

LET THE SUN SHINE IN is orgasmically delicious! I couldn’t get enough of the scrumptious sex between Rafe and Scott. Terri wasn't my favorite character in this story for some reason. I just couldn't really relate to her like I could to Rafe and Scott. To me, they stole the story and Terri was just kind of along for the ride. This is not meant to be critical of Jamie Hill at all. I just felt the romance and passion more between Scott and Rafe then either or both of them with Terri. This was a spellbinding tale of lust, trust and acceptance. I honestly can't see just two of these characters together. They all really belonged in this threesome they created! I am a huge fan of all of Jamie Hill's work, but I have to say, LET THE SUN SHINE IN is my all time favorite! I love her male on male action and can't wait to see what else she has in store soon.

Candice has just moved into 413 Remembrance Lane. She's already discovered the diary in one of the rooms and how to open it. Candy has also discovered a new friend on the property…a mangy black and white cat. When a man calls her explaining that he's the nephew of the owner of the home and wishes to speak with her, Candice is nervous to say the least. However, the man's voice sends her insides to quivering and she cannot seem to stay no to him. He introduces himself as Avakis. His touch melts Candice from head to toe and she can't seem to get enough of him. He should not be able to touch her this way! Why can't she seem to stop him?

Avakis is a vampire, cursed to take pleasure from women until he finds a virgin, whom he must turn over to his master to be tortured. He discovers that he can't give his master Candice. He is hopelessly in love with her. There is no way he can remain with her without his master finding out. Is there? When Candice explains the diary, both discover that they may be able to be together after all.

MY VAMPIRE, MY LOVE is a titillating good time to be had by all. Avakis is so protective of the only woman he's ever loved. Explaining to her that he is a vampire would shock and scare the hell out of most people, but Candice takes it in stride because she loves him. She's willing to fight his master along side him to remain with Avakis forever. Once again, the diary plays a pivotal role in their lives which I absolutely love! I definitely want a diary like this to make my wishes come true. Avakis and Candice were wonderful together. The passion that explodes between these two will leave you breathless!

The Life Not Lived by Michelle Houston

Figuring it's from her sister, she dons the beautiful necklace inside. Natasha has been hiding a side of herself for a very long time. She needs a woman in her life that will give her everything her heart and body craves.

When Natasha's erotic imaginings become a reality and she finds a strange woman with her in the bed, she freaks! The woman tells her she is called a succubus. She is sure she is just dreaming the woman bringing her untold pleasure, but decides what the hell, my as well ride it out. The succubus is here to help Natasha change her fate. Once upon a time, Natasha left behind the woman she loved more than anything to pretend to be normal. Maybe, with the help of the diary Natasha has found in the house, she can go back and change her mistakes. No fake marriage, no pretending to me straight when she's not and most of all, a chance to be completely and utterly happy again.

THE LIFE NOT LIVED was phenomenal! I truly fell in love with Natasha. I understood her hesitation at ever telling anyone that she was a lesbian. Growing up in the times that she did, she would never have been accepted. However, like she discovered too late, marrying a man to hide your true self will never work. I wanted Natasha to find the diary, to make her wish and to find her lost love. I was really rooting for her throughout. She brought tears to my eyes on more than one occasion, and the provocative pleasure she discovers will make your teeth melt. Michelle Houston is a favorite author of mine and I am so happy to have been able to delve into another one of her masterpieces yet again!

413 REMEMBRANCE LANE: DIARY OF A HOUSE is sinfully delicious. Be prepared to disappear into a multitude of time periods for a few hours. Each author brings their own special ingredients to this heart-stopping collection. There is no way I can pick my favorite story, as each one I seemed to love more than the last. From pirates and vampires to same sex loving, there is something that will appeal to everyone in this book from today's hottest authors. The diary itself really kept my attention. I would love to be able to find one in my home and share all the other inhabitants' adventures! This was such a unique storyline that kept my attention riveted to each individual story. I will be talking about this collection to everyone I know for a very long time to come.

Rio is going to strangle the reporter-if he can find her. He was supposed to have blown up the cave and all its secrets months ago! He also planned to blow himself up along with it. Rio is a broken, desperate vampire since his previous love betrayed him, dying in the process. Now he's running all over trying to track this nosy woman down to destroy her pictures while trying to fight his hard-core attraction to her.

If all of this isn't bad enough, the cave that was supposed to be destroyed has been home to an ancient evil that is now free. This evil threatens to destroy all human kind. When Dylan discovers the birthmark she carries matches a glyph from the wall of the cave, she will suddenly find herself drawn into Rio's world as a Breed warrior. Dylan's destiny exists with these warriors and the Order, but now she must decide whether to stand alongside Rio and bring him back from the brink of everlasting darkness, or leave, never to know true love again.

I am totally addicted to this phenomenal series and installment number four, MIDNIGHT RISING, is by far my favorite! Rio is a man I just want to hold and comfort. He broke my heart earlier in the series and his part in this story endeared him to me even more. He is one of the strongest characters in the MIDNIGHT BREED series and I'm very glad Lara Adrian gave him such a remarkable storyline. I loved the struggle with his "humanity." He's a man who's been left broken and physically scarred by his previous mate-a woman he trusted above all others. Hiding out in a cave is something I could truly see him doing. When Dylan appears, she literally brings him to his knees. For the first time in a very long time, instead of death, Rio is actually considering living again. The dialogue between Rio and Dylan is extraordinary-full of wit, sarcasm and passion. When these two do succumb to their desires, the pages of my book seemingly went up in flames. The romance, although a very important aspect of this series, is very strong and believable, it is the evil threatening the Order and Dylan that really draws the readers in. The fight for good over evil is never-ending for these warriors and their mates. Dylan is a warrior in her own right and she will fight to the death for Rio-even if that means joining him in his darkness. She's a very tough character yet compassionate when the need arises. The MIDNIGHT BREED series is one of the most remarkable series to hit book stands and I am very honored to have been able to review this story. If you haven't read any of these books, I strongly urge you to start at the beginning. This is a continuing series and readers will miss out on a lot of important things by starting on the fourth book. Lara Adrian is such a remarkably talented author that I know you'll become addicted to this series right away!

If you thought OVER HEXED was phenomenal, wait until you read WILD & HEXY! This story just bowled me over and left me rolling with laughter. The situations that the residents of Big Knob get into with Dorcas and Ambrose are priceless. This is such an engaging series and each character makes you feel like they are your best friend. Annie is the epitome of the girl next door—sweet, innocent, and beautiful. Jeremy, on the other hand is a total computer nerd—shy, nervous and a total wreck when it comes to talking to Annie. Dorcas and Ambrose are more than happy to help bring these two together. It's not that easy though, and there are some hilarious escapades between Jeremy and Annie that will have readers snorting out loud. It's never a dull moment with these two witches in residence. One way or another, Jeremy and Annie are going to end up together. Add in a dragon and sea monster and you are looking at a rip-roaring good time. Jeremy and Annie won't know what hit them!

Isidora is the epitome of evil incarnate—sensual, seductive and willing to take out anything in her path. Paula is a good girl turned bad with the possession. She's not sure if the things she feels are through her-or the woman inhabiting her. When she meets Rafe, she second-guesses herself constantly. She's not used to feeling such attraction to anyone. Rafe is the one who has to convince Paula that it is her feeling these things, not Isidora. However, Isidora is playing a huge part in the attraction between Rafe and Paula. She needs to convince Rafe that they belong together, and will use Paula's body to seduce him. I couldn't wait to see who Rafe would actually end up with. Paula is so sweet and innocently seductive, while Isidora is very blatant. Portia Da Costa left me guessing as to what his final decision would be. The love scenes between Paula and Rafe are exquisite and powerful. At once slow and seductive, and then passionate and evocative. This is definitely a couple I was rooting for from the moment they first met. Filled with an awesome storyline, remarkable characters and some of the most erotic scenes I've ever read, GOTHIC HEAT is my Blue Ribbon favorite of the year!

I strongly advice having your significant other close at hand! From the very first sentence I was a goner for GEMINI HEAT. This is such a profound story! I love the interaction between not only Delia and Deana, but their interaction with Jake as well. Although they are misleading him as to their real identity, I couldn't fault them. I would have done the same darn thing in their position. Jake is just too scrumptious for words! The sexual scenes throughout this story are some of the most erotic I've ever encountered. There are sweet scenes, dominating scenes and more pleasure than you could ever imagine! This is my first Portia Da Costa story (and actually the first she ever wrote for Black Lace) but I know it will not be my last. I've become addicted!

GONE WITH THE WITCH was great fun! Wonderful characters, a riveting storyline and a sensuous undercurrent are just a few of the things that made this such a phenomenal story. Storm is a hoot! She had me rolling in laughter through the entire story. She is such a perfect counterpoint to Aiden's more staid personality. She's wild and carefree while Aiden has his own surefire beliefs about everything. The romance that blooms between these two, when Aiden finally gives in, will have reader's hearts melting. The adventure Aiden and Storm embark on to find this crying baby will have you riveted to the pages dying to know how it's all going to work out. Annette Blair always has fun with her witch characters and it is very evident in this story. If you've never read her before, please do! I guarantee you'll be a die-hard fan in no time.

Now, not only are they fighting their own attraction to each other, but possibly the most evil demon to ever exist. Will both Isabelle and Thomas walk away alive?

Witch Blood by Anya Bast is one of my favorite books this year. I've been waiting for what feels like forever for this installment. Isabelle is a character that readers will be able to identify with. The heartbreak she is experiencing due to the loss of her sister will bring tears to your eyes. I could completely justify her means of making the man she holds responsible pay for his actions. I just wish Thomas would have let her go through with it. Now Thomas, he is definitely a man that will leave you drooling. Powerful, sexy and a force to be reckoned with, he'll stand by Isabelle to make sure that justice is served. The passion seems to literally explode between Thomas and Isabelle. It's almost palpable. I truly believed that these characters belonged together. The fight between them and the demon will leave you on the edge of your seat in fear. Anya Bast is a storytelling guru and if you haven't read her yet please do. I promise this is an author you'll be addicted to for a very long time!

Snake Charmer is just as the title states, absolutely charming! While at the beginning I was worried whether I'd be able to get into this kind of story, by the end of the first page I was hooked! Faotin is so fascinating…a man able to turn into a snake! This is definitely the most unique aspect I've seen when it comes to shape-shifting. I also loved the fact that Faotin really did have a conscience. When it came down to breaking his curse and killing Berlin in the process, he really put himself in someone else's shoes. Berlin is sweet, gentle, passionate and bold. She's an all around terrific character that readers will be able to relate to. The passion that explodes between Berlin and Faotin is completely believable and kept me hoping for a happily ever after for this couple. Snake Charmer also has some edge of your seat drama going on…the woman that cursed Faotin isn't willing to give up without a fight and Berlin is caught in the middle. Snake Charmer is a fantastic fast-paced story that will clutch you and keep you entertained all the way through!

In Angela Knight's we meet the sexy Mad Dog-fighting to be free of slavery. In A Jaguar's Kiss, readers are brought back into the world of The Breed with the sinfully delicious Saban. During Shifter's Lady, our hero, Ethan will fight for his love and the dying panthers. Sea Crossing brings us a real treat with the selkies. Each story stands out for its own reasons, but my favorite is definitely A Jaguar's Kiss. This is my first foray into the world of The Breeds, but it definitely won't be my last. I love the interaction of each of the characters in this anthology, the storylines really had me hooked and I got a look into a different shifter for each story. All of the authors included here are phenomenal and they've each garnered a huge fan!

Relationships 2 is a very engrossing collection of short stories from Piers Anthony. From a black man/white woman relationship, sexual rent for hire hosts, to a sultry siren, this is definitely a collection that will leaver readers wondering what just happened.

I have never had so much fun reading a collection of short stories before. I wasn't sure quite how to gauge my reactions to some of them, but each one was just as fantastical as the first. These aren't just erotica stories though. Some have more romance than others and some are totally fanciful, but each one is sure to leave readers both shaking their heads yet begging for more. I think my favorite story is Faking It. The character, Joe, was written by Piers Anthony exactly how I would imagine him at the time. It was a story of a black man getting trapped in an elevator with a white woman. During the time of the story, races did not mix and black men would be hanged for an offense. For some reason, this story in particular, really stood out to me. If you are a reader looking for a very fast-paced collection of stories to get your mind off everyday monotony, Relationships 2 is definitely the book for you!

Going Down? is absolutely fantastic! This is the best erotic romance story I've ever read. I was hooked from the very first sentence and fell head over heels for all of the wonderful characters. Fancy is a hoot! She'll do anything possible to be with her man at the end of the night, and I mean anything! The couples she fixes up are sensual, provocative and will leave you hot and bothered long after you finish this sinfully delicious tale. Kelly and Connor were my favorite couple, which is why I concentrated on them in this review. They were such a happily ever after couple. Readers will know, without a doubt, that these two are meant to be together forever. From melt your heart and raunchy adventures to happily ever afters, Going Down? is a book I will be recommending to everyone I know!

Preston is completely infatuated with Miki and when his magical kitty cat scratches Miki, Cupid may be getting more than he ever thought possible.

Cupid's Dilemma is the most fun I've had in a very long time. Mia Romano definitely turns up the heat in this Valentine's romance. Miki is a spit-fire and Preston is a yummy piece of man meat. When these two get together, fireworks explode and hearts melt. Cocoa, the magically kitty is hilarious and really brings some adventurous touches to this story. Miki's reaction to finding out that Preston is Cupid brought tears to my eyes from laughter. I could totally relate to her reaction, I'd think the guy was nuts too! Cupid's Dilemma is a wonderfully magical story to curl up with in front of a blazing fire and forgot your woes to for the afternoon. Mia Romano is an extremely talented story-weaver and I hope to read more from her very soon!

Rock My World is one of the most engaging and romantic stories I have ever read. The characters of Christopher and Lydia are sure to bring tears to your eyes. They have been through so much and Christopher, thinking it would be easier to leave Lydia, will be sure to get your hackles up. I was so angry at Christopher always thinking about himself. He was a martyr, determined to "do the right thing" for his wife, but instead destroying her. I understood his fear, anger and hopelessness, but was still angry at him for denying his wife the right to be there for him. Lydia was a very strong character, determined to not give up on their love. When the earthquake hit, I was hoping something positive would come out of it for these wonderful people.

The romance and passion in Rock My World is second to none. This story is sure to stick with me for a very long time. This is my first time reading Caitlyn Willows, but it definitely will not be my last. She just garnered herself a huge fan!

Is Kelsie making the worst mistake of her life by believing in Tom's innocence? Hopefully she discovers the truth before it's too late for both of them.

Change of Plans was an amazing story! Full of romance, passion, action and adventure, this is a must read for everyone. I was engrossed from the very first page and I was terrified of what the outcome would be. Jamie Hill has an marvelous talent of keeping readers enthralled and dying to know what's going to happen next. Kelsie has always been raised a "good girl" so it was nice to have her wickedness come to the forefront when she took a chance on Tom. I have to say, Tom struck me kind of funny...I wasn't sure if he was truly a good guy or a masterful liar. The ending completely caught me by surprise and that just makes me want to read more of Jamie Hill's books very soon!

However, when hot fantasy boy, Morgan, catches her diddling away, who is she to refuse his offer of making her fantasies reality?

While The Envelope Room tickled my fancy and got my heart racing, I strongly felt that it should be longer. I was left unsatisfied due to how fast the story moved and how quickly the couple were finished. I really liked Sherry and Morgan and had hoped that their storyline would develop further. If you as a reader are looking for a quick fantasy to whet your appetite, I'd definitely recommend this story to you. However, if you're looking for more romance, more storyline and a warm and fuzzy feeling to keep you warm at night, you may want to look for a more extended novel. Anastasia Rabiyah is a very talented author who I hope I have the pleasure of reading again.

Darkling is the best in this series so far in my opinion. She's my favorite character and she has so many layers to her personality. She's been hurt, stripped bare and victimized by the jerk, Dredge, that turned her into a vampire. She's strong, loyal and will kick anyone's ass that hurts someone she cares about. What I really like about this character is that she isn't conformed. She's technically bi in my book, she likes the men but she'll also get involved with a woman if it feels right. She's a character I want to see be made happy by Yasmine Galenorn. This story is non-stop action packed and will leave readers wanting to jump into these worlds and fight along side the sisters. The supporting characters also lend a great deal of romance, action and adventure to this story. The fight between Dredge and Menolly is heart-stopping. I was afraid of who would actually come out on top. What I like most about this series, and Yasmine Galenorn, is that we actually get to know each individual character. The books don't just sweep through and leave you guessing. Yasmine gets down and dirty with each character and really makes readers feel like each character is a friend. The ending to this story was gripping and I can't wait for the next installment. Bring on the dragon!!!!

Oh my gosh this story was amazing!!!! One of the best books I've read all year, The Vampire Shrink is one I'll definitely re-read again and again. I can't wait for the next in this mind-blowing series! Kismet is a terrific character. Completely human, she gets dragged into the vampire world when she meets a teenager convinced vampires exist. Thinking it would be funny, she advertises herself as a "vampire psychologist." Little does Kismet know, she just turned her life upside down. What she gets instead, is a whole new world where she discovers vampires do actually exist and that they can be good or evil, just like humans. When she falls in love with one, she has no idea how to handle it. Now she's caught in this mad world where she's being hunted down. Not only that, she's caught between a vampire and a cop...which one should she choose? Both make her insides turn to mush and her heart pitter patter. Before she can make any decisions, she's going to have to stay alive. Devereux is sexy, sinfully delicious in all the right spots and totally devoted to Kismet. Alan (not my favorite of the two) is more straight laced and obsessed with Kismet. I didn't like the vibes coming from him through the whole story. The sex between Kismet and Devereux is smoking hot! If you're looking for a book to read that will drag you in and leave you craving the next one, The Vampire Shrink is definitely the book for you. Lynda Hilburn is a magnificant author who I hope continues to write this series for very, very long time!

She's made to be though, when Ivy is kidnapped, other vamps have a hit out on Kistan and Jenks is hurt. The only person she can rely on is herself. With demons and other people after the focus, she going to have to kick some major ass this time around. Horrible things happen in this book and I cried my eyes out (not going to tell you what it is!). I was very shocked that Kim Harrison went this certain route, but she has her reasons. There are a lot of interesting scenes between Rachel and Ivy early on that made me wonder exactly what was going to happen between these two in the long run. A lot of innuendos, lead up and cliff hanging is definitely going to have me tuning in to the next installment from this terrific author!

Iron Kissed is, in my opinion, the best in this series so far. The world Briggs creates just draws readers in and dares us to walk away untouched. I don't consider these books to be of a paranormal genre, to be they're the epitome of urban fantasy at its best. The world Mercy lives in, as depicted by Ms. Brigg's amazing writing skills, is so realistic, I feel like I can walk outside and come face to face with these characters. Mercy is a hell of a heroine, probably one of the top three of our times. She's headstrong, loyal, determined and passionate. She never walks away from her friends, even if things they do are wrong. She'll step up to the plate and fight your demons for you if that's what it takes. Being a SkinWalker makes her even more unusal. She's the only one of her kind in existence (that anyone knows of). Her men, Samuel and Adam are sinfully delicious (I'm constantly rooting for Adam however)and just as loyal to Mercy as she is to them. The tug of war over Mercy always gives readers a good time. The plot of this story is magnificant! I liked the look into the world of the fae and their ways of handling issues between themselves. If you haven't read any books in this series, I strongly recommend you start from the beginning. These books should be read in order to get the full effect of this world and characters!

A friend recommended Ms. Rainey to me and I'll forever be grateful to her for helping me discover this truly gifted author!

Dane and Neil are both sexy and playful, making both seem more real to me. By far the best attribute about WEEKEND MENAGE are the scorching sex scenes. From the bed to the Jacuzzi, there is something for everyone throughout this story. I'm a huge fan of Michelle Hasker's books and WEEKEND MENAGE is a must read for fans of the erotica genre. I'll be re-reading this over and over again!

B.J. and Miranda, when they come together, are like a ship coming home in the night. The sex is sweet yet powerful, making me feel like these two were meant for each other for always. When Miranda goes on her adventures to look for her missing pearl, some of the sex scenes, while they took my breath away, left me feeling as incomplete as Miranda did. As a reader, I could "feel" Miranda's disappointment in these sexual escapades. Desiree Holt is the most amazing erotica author of our time and each story is more fulfilling then the last. GALE FORCE is an absolutely readalicious delight! Everything about the WEATHER WARDEN series is phenomenal, but GALE FORCE, so far, is my favorite. Joanne kicks major butt in this installment, while at the same time trying to figure out how to make a possible marriage work between herself and David. There was so much action, drama and romance packed into this story, I was completely captivated from beginning to end. Joanne is one of my all time favorite characters from any series and I was so happy to see she was getting a chance at a happily ever after. Ms. Caine definitely packs a wallop with this story, leaving me on edge and desperate to discover if GALE FORCE would have the ending I was craving. The villain was a force to be reckoned with…evil, malicious and downright scary. David was as scrumptious as always but his doubt about Joanne's sanity at first really disappointed me. As usual, David sticks by his woman when it counts and their love almost feels tangible. The secondary characters, Cherise and Lewis also play a big roll in GALE FORCE: Lewis being the thread that holds everyone together and Cherise offering her crazy sense of humor. If you haven't read the rest of the series, I'd suggest you start at the beginning so you don't miss one monumental moment in the world of the Weather Wardens. GALE FORCE is a book I'm going to enjoy reading again and again!

Just when I think Rachel Caine can't bring me back to the edge of my seat in anticipation, she knocks my socks off with another MORGANVILLE VAMPIRE installment. I don't care what anyone says, young adult series or not, these books are amazing! Claire is such a memorable character. She's tough, cheeky and willing to lay down her life for the things she believes are important. I always think of her as Buffy without the stake. The supporting characters are just as thrilling, always giving me a good laugh or making me want to protect them from all the evil they're facing. I love the growing romance between Claire and Shane. It's always so sweet and tender and I have a lot of respect for Rachel Caine for making Shane a stand up guy and not pressuring the underage Claire into something she's not ready for. Everything about this series is enchanting and addicting and it's a series I recommend to everyone I know. I love Rachel Caine and truly believe her books are the epitome of the paranormal genre. I'll be going through withdrawals until the next book comes out!

The most romantic aspect of this story was Cal fighting for his man, Kevan. He refused to give up hope of them being together. Kevan and Cal were sinfully sexy together and I could sense true love here. I would recommend reading this entire series as a whole, but it is possible to read this book as a stand alone. I just feel that you'll get more of a feel for each character and Kevan's mother and their world by reading from the very beginning.

Both Conn and Marcel are strong alpha males, willing to do anything to keep the woman they love safe. I'm not going to give you readers any spoilers, except to say that when the three of them come together, your heart is going to weep! Bonnie really stepped out on a limb with this book—a pregnant mother, a crazy ex and two men wanting her regardless of the fact that she's carrying another mans child. Somehow, Bonnie made this whole story totally believable. I'd give this story a ten if I could and I can't wait to read the second book in this series coming soon, SHELTERING ABBY!

Quinn's curse really made him see the light and regret his past actions, turning him into an honorable man who knows that to be with Miranda, he's going to have to change his wicked ways. The humor involving Miranda thinking she's going crazy left me giggling. If you're looking for a light hearted paranormal, QUINN'S CURSE is definitely the story for you!

Everything about this story made me swoon and really believe that there is the perfect person out there for all of us. Kudos to Lexie Davis for making me a believer!

History is an astounding entity though—capable of being re-written. Maybe even for love?

What a heart-wrenching, emotional and romantic story. THE SWEETHEART TREE is full of yummy goodness guaranteed to leave readers feeling warm and fuzzy long after completing it. Ms. Autry is a dynamic storyteller. This is not the type of story I usually read but I was enthralled from the very first page. Sabrina is quirky, quick on her feet and a perfect match for the mysterious Caleb. Caleb is a hunk! He's sexy, sweet and totally in love with Sabrina. The dynamic between the storyline and the characters is top notch. I laughed, I cried and I considered THE SWEETHEART TREE one of the best books I'll read all year!

Unfortunately, Morgan's been lied to and her body is no longer her own.

When Morgan starts losing time and spacing out, she gets scared. What's worse, when she comes too, she's finding that she's written notes. It appears the notes aren't from herself or her subconscious though; they're from the demon inside her body. This demon isn't your garden variety bad boy …he's in fact one of the most powerful demons to ever exist. Not only is he powerful, he's totally mouthwateringly sexy to boot. His story is a scary one though, since the person who set Morgan up to be possessed is actually someone that should be protecting her, not setting her up to die!

THE DEVIL INSIDE is nail-biting, powerful and passionate all in one. I couldn't put this story down. This was my first foray into Jenna Black's mind and I have to say, I'm completely astounded! This is one of the best books I've ever read and I would recommend it to anyone who's into more of the story and less of the romance. Not to say there isn't any romance throughout; it just takes more of a backseat to the more important stuff. Fans of Patricia Briggs' Mercy series are going to love this new heroine. Morgan is one hell of a kick butt roll model. She has so many layers to her—she's tough, yet sympathetic if it calls for it, powerful, yet insecure and always ready with her razor sharp wit, Morgan is the epitome of today's woman. Lugh, the demon possessing Morgan's body, is scrumptious! The two of them, when they meet in "dreams," are funny, erotic and forever memorable. The secondary characters interspersed throughout are also enticing and the sex scenes are smoking hot. The most fantastic part of THE DEVIL INSIDE for me, of course, is the battle between good and evil. Someone is out to get Morgan and I couldn't believe it when I discovered who all was involved. THE DEVIL INSIDE is a fast-paced, non-stop adventure that I'm sure everyone will love as much as I do. I cannot wait to read the next installment, coming out this year, THE DEVIL YOU KNOW.

THE MASTERS: TARAK by Kate Hill is sinfully delicious. I was on the edge of my seat in ecstasy from beginning to end. A totally orgasmic read sure to please all readers. Deva and Tarak will give you heart palpitations for weeks. These two were so hot and romantic they brought tears to my eyes. I could relate to Deva—I've been in those relationships where the man is in charge and it's all about him. I could understand her wanting to exert her independence. From the very beginning, I knew she was in love with Tarak and just wanted him to recognize her point of view. She didn't really want to give up on their relationship, she married him for better or worse and they just needed to get past the worse. Tarak is unbelievably sexy! He's strong, suave and dominant. As angry as I was at him for hurting Deva, at the same time I was willing to take her place. I would recommend this story to anyone who loves a great paranormal or a great erotica story. I cannot wait to read more from the esteemed Ms. Hill very soon!

This story is steamy, romantic and heart-breaking all in one. The male character is going through a tough time, leaving for active duty the next day and just wants a woman's arms holding him tight one more time. What he gets instead is the most explosive sex of his entire life. If you've seen the scene in Road House where Patrick Swayze is doing his girl against the brick fireplace…that has nothing on the sex scene in this story! If I could give this story a higher rating, I definitely would. This is a keeper that I'm going to be recommending to everyone!

Although Jess is just using Chase to get information, I could sense more behind her actions. Even though there is a lot of amazing sex in this story, there's also a very engaging storyline. Jess is on a mission to find a bad guy and she'll use anything at her disposal to complete her mission—even Chase. At the same time, she's developing feelings for Chase and she's not sure she can just walk away in the end. This fact kept my attention engrossed to the very end as I just had to know what was going to happen between these two. I would suggest to readers that if you're going to read this story, you be prepared to continue the story with Ms. Hasker's following books as this is a series and there is definitely more to come in the lives of Chase and Jess.

LURED BY LUST is exquisite, one of the best erotica's I've read this year! Ms. Picarda definitely knows how to make readers turn these pages. I was enthralled from the very first page and devoured it in one sitting. Clara was hot! Her and her partners definitely left me tingling in all the right places. There are elements of romance throughout this story which kept me guessing at who Clara would end up with. The mystery of "Mr. X" kept me enthralled throughout and it was driving me crazy trying to figure out who he was. Black Lace Publishing has the best erotica authors I've ever read and Tania Picarda just became one of my all time favorites. I'll be looking forward to reading her next story in the near future, I hope!

Loss of communication has almost cost them their marriage. Misunderstandings make things even worse. I could relate to Janie's lack of confidence in herself as she was getting older, which made her even more real to me. Ms. Devereux did an amazing job of capturing the romance and the lack of confidence in these two characters. I was drawn in from the very first page and I can't wait to read more from this talented author very soon!

Sage is an innocent, stuck with a man in a cave that doesn't want to take no for an answer when it comes to her body. For that matter, her body isn't exactly saying no either. For the first time ever, Sage if finally attracted to a man and burning up. What she doesn't know is that Ravin is trying to seduce her to break his spell. Ravin starts out as a jerk for using Sage but I grew to love him just as much. However, when it really counts, Ravin steps up to the plate for his lover. I've still got goose-bumps from this story and this is going to end up being another terrific series from one of the best paranormal erotica authors ever!

Jacee drives Oryon nuts but he can't seem to let her go. He's so darn attracted to her that she's driving him insane. They have a mission to complete so it's taking all his willpower to keep his hands off her. When he discovers just how strong and courageous Jacee is, he finds a new respect and passion for her. They're from two different worlds though, which poses a problem. I couldn’t wait to read Jacee's explanation for where she actually came from to Oryon. This was a fun, fast paced read and I'd enjoy reading more from Piper Evans again.

Unfortunately, sex is just sex and Rune craves more. He wants a woman to warm him, a mate to complete him. When he watches the video of potential donor, Doe, his emotions become a rollercoaster. Already, he's becoming protective of his little deer. Agreeing to accompany Doe through the gauntlet, Rune may find more with Doe than even he ever anticipated.

THE MASTERS: RUNE is the best darn book I've ever read. This entire series is top-notch, never letting the reader down, instead drawing us in and holding on tight! Kate Hill is a titillating story-weaver of the highest caliber. Each one of her books really leaves me feeling complete when I finish. However, I also crave more and more from her characters and stories. Rune is sensual, patient and above all else, dominant yet sweet. He's willing to give Doe anything she wishes, as long as they can spend eternity together. She is the only woman who has ever struck such a cord with him and he's wearing his heart on his sleeve before they're through with the gauntlet. Suddenly, the dominator becomes the dominated. Doe is a naïve, innocent young lady when she comes to Sunlight of the Soul but she's looking for someone to show her the pleasures of the flesh. Rune is perfect for her because he knows how to dominate and at the same time still remain gentle with her. The sex scenes throughout this story are going to have your ready to be fulfilled yourself! They are smoking hot and romantic at the same time. This is one of my favorite series of books ever and I can guarantee that by the time you finish this story, you'll be begging for the rest of this mind-blowing series!
