The Candy Shoppe by Debora Dennis

While Kandace is fighting the hundred degree temps, both inside her ice cream shop and out, she's also fighting her desire for her sexy repair man, Jason. She's been fighting her attraction to him for years. She knows that one day she's just going to find herself at his mercy and give in. She gave in once before and all it gave her was heartache. Unfortunately, Jason is a sweet temptation that Kandace just can't seem to resist. However, Kandace finds herself in desperate need of a new ice cream freezer for her shop. When Jason makes her an offer she can't refuse, who is she to back down from the challenge?

THE KANDY SHOPPE is a delightfully fun story about second chances. Jason hurt Kandace badly, years ago. Unfortunately, he doesn't realize just how badly he hurt her. I really enjoyed the tug of war between Jason and Kandace. She's not ready or completely willing to forgive him, but she's so attracted to him, it's hard not to just give in to their passion. Jason is totally in love with Kandace, but it's going to take a lot to prove that to her. She thinks he's a total playboy and just looking to add another notch to his belt. A strong romance, engaging characters and a lot of humor, THE KANDY SHOPPE is really a wonderful read that I will be recommending to everyone. Deborah Dennis is definitely someone I'll be keeping my eye on for new releases.
