Better than sex and chocolate, Kelley Armstrong draws readers back into the Otherworld with a slam dunk new story. Our favorite chaos demon gets her own story and Hope is definitely a heroine to be cheering for!
Hope Adams is a tabloid reporter who loves dealing with chaos. She also just happens to be a chaos demon. Well, half actually. Her father was a demon and her mother never knew it. Hope has just been recruited by Benicio Cortez, head of the Cortez Cabal in Miami. He needs her unique traits to help infiltrate a gang of supernaturals. She's perfect for the job since she's young, hip and has the type of powers the gang leader is looking for. It also doesn't hurt that Hope is newly single. Hope is about to learn a lot more about her powers though and she may just find a new romance along the way!
Kelley Armstrong did it again! I'm an addict—hook, line and sinker. I wondered for a long time how this book would turn out since it has so many narrators throughout, but Ms. Armstrong did a tremendous job helping readers keep everyone's storylines straight. I love Hope. She's sweet, sassy and always looking for a little trouble in her life. I'm very glad she got her own story to shine in as she's such a strong heroine. The plotline to PERSONAL DEMON still gives me goose bumps! Hope meets a group of new people when she has to work her way into the gang and it's not without its danger. Mr. Cortez is pulling the strings again with his own agenda at the forefront. Some of the regular cast makes appearances which helps make Hope feel like part of the family. This was non-stop action with just the right amount of romance and, without a doubt, a winner!
